Project Management
Whether you have a Westwood Solutions design, or one from another source, we can arrange to have the scheme implemented. Documentation and services can include any or all of the following:
• contractor ‘finder’ service
• bill of quantities
• specifications
• terms and conditions of contract
• inviting and overseeing tenders
(including selection of contractor(s))
• project management of selected contractor
(at a fixed price rate or ‘as required’)
The above can be implemented from the start of the project, through all payment stages, including approving and recording any variations to sign-off.
Expert Witness & Adjudication
• Do you have contractual problems?
• Have you lost confidence in your contractor?
• Has the work you received been of a poor standard?
• Are you working for a ‘Client From Hell’?
Whatever your problems, Westwood Solutions are able to mediate or adjudicate between both parties in an attempt to come to an amicable solution, whilst trying to avoid the inevitable stress and expense of taking/defending any legal action. We are experts in difficult site meetings, for example, where both parties have stopped communicating.
We can assess individual items in disagreement to carrying out a full ‘as-built’ survey. If the situation has gone beyond any of the above, documentation can be prepared for either/both parties. We are often appointed by the local Magistrates Court to prepare an independent report, on behalf of the Court.
Training
Westwood Solutions are able to tailor particular requirements to provide cost effective packages to carry out training and/or updates for individuals or small groups (up to 10 persons). These may include design issues, legislative (i.e. Health & Safety), management procedures, marketing and sales or craft issues for site operatives.
