Marshalls PLC - SUDS plus
Marshalls plc, the UK's leading manufacturer of concrete products, has appointed Westwood Solutions to carry out consultancy work to help launch their domestic range of Sustainable Urban Drainage System paving blocks and accessories. The new range of permeable paving (due for launch late 07) allows rain/stormwater to soak back directly into the ground, and helps prevent overloading of the existing drainage systems. Westwood Solutions are also investigating rainwater harvesting, storage, irrigation and led garden lighting, with the possibility of them being an addition to Marshalls extensive sustainable garden product range.
