Commerical Garden Design

architects
We can assist architects who require specific or specialist features developed and/or sourced.

developers
We are able to work with the client’s team to formulate landscape plans to achieve initial required permissions. Progression of any landscape enhancements, public art, water features or specialist lighting can be undertaken to maximise sales potential.

builders
Working with builders, we strive to complement bespoke property(ies) with our garden ‘design and build’ package.

specialist lighting
We are able to design and install the following:
• mains
• low voltage
• led
• solar powered
• remote control systems
• passive infra red sensors

These are installed to Part P Certification. Whether installation is required indoors (including receptions, atriums, waiting rooms and hospitals etc) or outdoors, we have a solution to fit your needs.

suds (sustainable urban drainage systems)
We are at the cutting edge of designing, supplying and installing complete systems – from naturally draining paving blocks and rain gardens, storm water management systems and grey water harvesting to automatic irrigation systems.
We have actively contributed to the specification prepared by Interlay/Interpave . This specification was designed for domestic driveways, additional off-road parking areas and patios.

decks with a difference

commercial schemes
When the no-smoking ban becomes effective, commercial schemes including pubs, restaurants and hotels will be affected. Early provision needs to be made for their smoking patrons. Our decks can be non-slip and are proven for public loading and disabled access. Covered areas, awnings and sails can also be added to produce various styles and effects. Integrated lighting and low maintenance planting can create a relaxed atmosphere on even the largest decked area.

Where there are concerns relating to decking being a fire risk we are able to design and build using metal and recycled plastic composites. This is particularly useful, for example, on caravan and chalet parks.

domestic deck areas
We continue to design and build innovative decks, roof gardens and balconies, and have a reputation for tackling ‘hard to access’ areas. Our use of different combinations of both hard and treated softwoods, combined with stainless steel, lead, copper, bronze, ceramics and glass, lead to stunning examples of craftsmanship.

timber engineering
Many years of experience together with a dogged persistence to solve challenging situations where both ground retention and/or water are involved, has lead to a host of unusual projects involving retaining walls and steps, access ramps, river and pond revetment , along with boardwalks , canal moorings and fishing piers.
